bride and groom holding hands at ceremony at North Arm Far

If you’re after awe-inspiring scenery and a destination feel for your wedding, Pemberton is an incredible choice. It has become quite a hub for weddings, and there are so many great venues here. Your guests will love it too! Just 30 minutes from Whistler and two hours from Vancouver, Pemberton is not too far off the beaten path, and the village offers lots of fun activities that your guests can enjoy.

I have called nearby Whistler home for over 20 years and love exploring Pemberton with my family. I have also shot a ton of weddings here, so I know the area inside and out. Here are my eight favourite Pemberton wedding venues, plus why they might be perfect for you!

1. North Arm Farm

long table dinner setup at North Arm Farm

North Arm Farm is a working farm. They grow delicious produce including potatoes, carrots, berries, and lots more onsite, and it’s home to tons of cute farm animals! The farm itself is so beautiful with lots of rustic charm, and it offers absolutely breathtaking views of Mount Curry. Golden hour at North Arm Farm is amazing, and I have captured some incredible photos at this venue!

North Arm Farm wedding bookings include access to the farm, the fields, the barn, and the bistro. I have seen couples set up gorgeous long table dinners outdoors at this venue, or you can opt for dinner in the barn out of the elements (it can get very hot in Pemberton). The barn, which is filled with sparkling string lights, is also perfect for dancing!

Because North Arm Farm is so pretty, you don’t need to do much in terms of decor. You can let the venue shine! That being said, pretty much everything needs to be brought in, so I would highly recommend hiring a wedding planner. Drop me a message if you need recommendations!

  • Perfect for couples who want a rustic chic wedding with gorgeous views.

2. Riverlands Red Barn

Riverlands Red Barn is exactly what I envision when I think of the picture-perfect barn wedding venue with a rustic interior. It is my absolute favourite Pemberton wedding venue, and I’ve had the pleasure of capturing lots of weddings here!

Not only is the barn stunning, but the whole property has incredible panoramic views, and the evening light is perfect. If you want your wedding photos to feature dramatic shots of Mount Curry, the Pemberton Valley, and lush water meadows, this is the venue for you!

Riverlands Red Barn offers lots of options for customization. There is tons of space, and you can really make it your own. There are no restrictions on catering at this venue, so you can bring in food trucks for an outdoor picnic, do a long table dinner, or do anything else you can dream up! There are also no corkage fees here, which can stretch your budget a little further.

  • Perfect for couples who want a beautiful and versatile wedding venue that they can customize with their own ideas.

3. Bluevault

This is another Pemberton wedding venue that I absolutely love. If you are planning a luxury wedding, I would highly recommend having a look at Bluevault. The 135-acre property features a gorgeous house that couples can use for getting ready and as onsite accommodation. The house has an elegant interior that photographs beautifully. Hotel options in Pemberton are fairly limited, so this is a great alternative.

When you step outside the house at Bluevault, you are surrounded by natural beauty. The property has mountain views and tons of beautiful trees. There are so many options for your outdoor ceremony and reception here. It is important to note that a tent rental is required for this venue.

  • Perfect for couples who appreciate luxury and attention to detail.

4. Sunstone Golf

Mount Curry’s massive 8500-foot peak is fully on display behind the ceremony site at Sunstone Golf. I have taken some jaw-dropping photos at this Pemberton wedding venue!

In addition to the well-maintained outdoor grounds, Sunstone Golf also has plenty of indoor space, including a heated covered patio, so there’s no need to worry about bad weather. The indoor space has lots of windows to let in the natural light and allow you and your guests to enjoy the beautiful views.

Sunstone Golf is a full-service venue, and their wedding packages include a buffet dinner, so no need to worry about hiring a caterer. The staff at this venue are amazing, they will go above and beyond to make your celebration special! There is also the option to glamp onsite in the venue’s two yurts.

5. Dreamcatcher Meadows

Bride and groom holding hands and walking at Dreamcatcher Meadows

While Dreamcatcher Meadows is a little further from Whistler and Vancouver, it is well worth the trek! The Lillooet River flows through the large property, which offers lots of variety for photos and ceremony sites. Dreamcatcher Meadows is also a world-class horse farm, so if you want, we can definitely arrange for a few horses to make a cameo in your wedding photos.

Dreamcatcher Meadows has a variety of spots that you can use for your wedding. You can choose to say “I do” among ancient cedars or beside the rushing river. Many couples opt to have their reception in the Entertainment Barn, which is open-sided and draped in hops and beautiful flowering vines. If you need a higher capacity for guests, tents can also be set up in the Olympic-sized riding arena. Additionally, the venue includes two buildings that can be used for getting ready – the Events Chalet and the Gate House.

If you wish, guests can camp or glamp on the property. Keep in mind that if your guests are staying offsite, organizing transportation is a must for this venue since it is quite far from town.

  • Perfect for couples who want a rustic yet elegant setting with lots of versatility.

6. Drumkeeran House

If you are looking for an incredibly unique and cozy venue for your intimate Pemberton wedding, this is it! Drumkeeran House is designed to replicate the atmosphere of a Celtic country house and is built from Western Red Cedar logs.

The house is located in a tranquil forest on the shore of Lake Ivey, a small and quiet lake known for fly fishing. The property includes access to 800 feet of waterfront and its own private dock. During the summer, you and your guests can fish and swim off the dock, and there is even a canoe you can use! A winter wedding here would also be magical, and you can cross-country ski and snowshoe right out the front door.

The 6000 square foot Drumkeeran House is best for small weddings with under 25 guests. Your guests will love staying onsite in the six ensuite bedrooms. Bonus: There are some fantastic amenities to enjoy, including a hot tub and gourmet kitchen.

Set on seven acres and with the Lillooet River running through the property, this Pemberton wedding venue has no shortage of amazing locations for photography. Green Water Resort’s property includes access to a pond with a dock, a gazebo, and a sandy beach on the river. The venue has a rustic feel, and weddings here are so fun and laid-back.

You and your guests can stay onsite for your Green Water Resort wedding. There is a beautiful guest lodge that has both upper and lower two-bedroom suites, plus there is a cedar glamping village with the cutest A-frame cabins. The glamping village also has a firepit so you can end the night with a bonfire – hello, s’mores under the stars!

Big Sky Golf offers epic views of Mount Curry. The mountain is so close to this venue that it dominates the scenery, making for super dramatic and stunning photos.

The 8000 square foot clubhouse has tons of windows that bathe the space in natural light and gorgeous exposed wood beam ceilings. There is also an adjoining 2500 square foot covered deck that makes a dreamy spot for a dancefloor.

Want to include your pup in your wedding? You can here! Big Sky Golf is dog-friendly for the ceremony and cocktail hour.

One thing to note is that you will need to hire a wedding planner for this venue. It’s required!
