I believe in human connection, celebrating the moments that matter and telling your story, no matter what happens. Oh, and I also believe in coffee.
Everyone has a story. My desire is to tell that story through authentic and creative imagery that you’ll come back to time and time again throughout your life.
MY STORY
I was born and raised in the West Kootenays of British Columbia but have called the beautiful mountain town of Whistler home for over 20 years. I received my first camera at 18 and soon after enrolled in the Western Academy of Photography.
At first, I thought I might become a wildlife photographer and then I spent a few years as an adventure sports photographer. But my true passion has always been people. I love spending time with people, documenting their connection and telling their story – especially against the beautiful backdrop of British Columbia.
I started my own Whistler wedding photography business in 2015 and have had the privilege of capturing authentic moments in all of their honesty and beauty. Being a wedding photographer in Whistler allows me to combine my passion for human connection, experience living and working in the mountains, and belief in the power of storytelling.
LOVE, PHOTOGRAPHY & WHISTLER
My wife and I are from two different countries and met in a third. We spent years dating long distance, knowing the whole time that we had to be together. I see that same desire in the couples I photograph. I know how important love stories are and that’s why I want to help you tell yours.
Photographs have created some of the most special memories in my life. One of my most treasured photos is of my grandfather meeting my son for the first time – my son’s little fingers wrapped around his weathered hand.
That photo was the last one they have together, as my grandfather passed away soon after, and will always be a memory I’m so grateful we have captured.
My family and I often look back on our photos, reliving memories and bringing us back to moments both big and small. Our travel photos are particularly transportive. With so many couples choosing Whistler for their destination wedding, I want that same feeling for you.
As a local who has lived in Whistler for over 20 years, I know the land, the locations and the light by heart. I’ve built a tight-knit wedding vendor community, who are more like a family, and have experience in the mountains as an adventure sports photographer. I deeply love Whistler and can’t wait to welcome you to my home!

OUTSIDE OF WEDDINGS
Besides weddings, I also capture elopements, engagements, family portraiture and other commercial projects. I’m game for any chance to connect with people and document their love for one another and the natural world around them.
One project I’m particularly proud of is an exhibition I produced with the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre called UNCEDED. The aim was to dig into the word unceded – a word we hear all the time in land acknowledgments – by photographing Indigenous peoples on their land, marrying modern and traditional elements, to bring a sense of belonging.
This project was an important step towards reconciliation with the Indigenous peoples of this land and I was very proud to help bring it to life.
When I’m not behind my camera, you’ll probably find me spending time with my loving family – my wife, two kids and dog – planning our next international trip or enjoying our beautiful backyard of Whistler, BC together.
