Travelling from all the way across the world to a little Stone Circle in the forest of Whistler, a truly beautiful couple tied the knot.
Christian and Angela had both spent time living in Whistler and are now currently settled across the globe teaching in China. They decided to come back to this quiet mountain town to spend time with their family and friends for their wedding celebration. On a cool overcast afternoon they tied the knot at the Stone Circle in the woods just off the shores of Alta Lake. A light rain began to fall just as the ceremony was coming to a close, so everyone headed to the cabin in the woods for some champagne and laughter. Once the guests started to head back, I was able to spend a few moments with the couple, walking and talking and taking photos. The clouds seemed to be getting darker and darker, but even with the light rain that fell, Christian and Angela were up for anything. When we were finished, we headed back to the Nita Lake Lodge to join their friends and family for cocktails. When we got to the lodge, the sky broke for a few minutes, and we were lucky enough to capture a few moments of sunlight on the dock. Just as?we were done, the lightning came and the hail began to fall, and we had officially seen every weather condition possible for their wedding day! A special thank you to Tracy Kerr for the beautiful ceremony and to the amazing team at Sea to Sky Celebrations all of their work putting on this wonderful day.
Congratulations Christian and Angela! Enjoy the rest of your time visiting here in Canada before heading back to your adventurous lives in the Far East!
