Why Whistler Is Perfect for Elopements
Living and working in the Sea to Sky, I have been photographing Whistler elopements for many years. Couples have come from all over the world to get married in this little mountain town, and I can’t imagine a better way to begin their lives together.
A Whistler elopement can be as simple or as extravagant as you would like to make it. From a spectacular helicopter tour to an alpine lake, to a 4×4 adventure to the top of a mountain, to a simple ceremony at the edge of a river, an elopement really is all about you as a couple and wherever your dreams may take you.

Where to Elope in Whistler
For elopement style weddings, my goal is to document the story of the day so that you can look back on the photographs later and relive the moments and feelings of this amazing time.
I love to document a little bit of getting ready, through the ceremony and portraits, up until the reception or dinner plans/backyard hang…wherever the evening takes you. These are generally anywhere between 3 and 6 hours, but I have been with couples for more than 12. I want to be there for every moment with you, to tell your story, to capture your memories.

Eloping Outside BC: Squamish, Pemberton and Beyond
To travel across the province, country, or world with a couple as they join their lives together is both a privilege and an honour. For them to love my work and trust me to capture some of the most important moments of their journeys in life makes me feel that what I do really matters. Documenting elopements all over the world allows me to combine my passion for photographing people with my intense love of travel and seeing new places. I have photographed weddings and elopements across the globe, from Canada and the US, to Russia, Cuba, Mexico and more. Shooting in a new place is fascinating, and I am always excited to explore and see what I can create with my amazing couples.
