WHISTLER FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY
Whistler is hard to put into words. The mountains, the lakes, and the rivers that cut through the evergreens–they take hold of you and don’t ever really let go. When you’re here, you’ll suddenly realize that you’ve lost track of time, and nobody has looked at their phone in hours.
That ends up in the photos, whether you mean for it to or not. And when you look back at them, you’ll remember exactly how it felt being in Whistler together.
THE EXPERIENCE
If you’ve spent any amount of time here, you’ll get it. Whistler helps you slow down just enough. It gets your family outside, and you’ll find yourself more present with each other.
And during your Whistler family photo session? We’ll lean into that.
No rushing. No pressure. Just your family, exactly as you are, in a place that already means something.
WHY IT MATTERS
One of the most meaningful photos I have is of my grandfather meeting my son for the first time, my son’s tiny finger wrapped around his hand.
It’s a quiet moment, nothing big or dramatic.
But it ended up being the last photo they ever had together. That’s the thing about photos like these. They might feel small at the time, but they don’t stay that way.
They become part of your story.
These are the kind of moments I aim to capture during family sessions. They tend to unfold naturally, and you might not even notice them. But when you look back, they are the parts that you want to remember forever.
ALL SESSIONS INCLUDE:
An online gallery where you can download, print and share your images as you wish. The images are delivered in both high resolution for printing, as well as web optimized files for social media and online use.
Sneak peeks within a week of your session. The rest of the gallery is delivered in 8 weeks.
ON LOCATION
Whether it’s a quick nature walk just off your own backyard, or the kind of adventure you pack up, plan for, and look forward to for months, outdoor sessions are full of the moments that you want to hold onto forever.
Whistler kind of does its thing; the mountains, lakes, and fresh air make everyone feel a little more alive (and maybe a little less interested in screens), and we’ll just lean into it. Family photos don’t need to be a big production. Just exploring, wandering, and letting things unfold as they will. I’ll guide you a bit, but mostly I’m there to catch what’s already happening.
Because it was never really about the perfect photo, it’s about remembering how it felt to be there together.

IN HOME
Photographing families in their homes is kind of my favourite thing. Everyone is at their most comfortable, and I get to document the story of your life, exactly as you live it. Kids playing on the floor, snacks left half-eaten on the counter, someone inevitably climbing on you mid-photo (honestly, I expect it). You’re in your space, your rhythm, and years from now, that’s what you’ll want to look back on.
Not a Whistler local? That’s ok. We can do a session with a similar vibe at your vacation rental or hotel.
